A walk in the gardens

[Ares]

ares was walking around th gardens of mount Olympus and pondering how he could kill his half brother Hercules. because ares hated Hercules for their father had always favored him and ares thinks Hercules is a disgrace to the gods because he is half mortal and to ares that is no how things are suppose to be.

ares pondering deeply on how to kill his half brother he Finlay had an idea on how he could kill him he could disguise himself as mortal and then kill him and be rid of Hercules once and for all.

[Aphrodite]

Aphrodite came from her room just waking up. She had took a long nap which was well needed. Going outside Aphrodite smiled seeing how nice it was today. Sure it was nice every day but today seemed different to her. She began to walk through the grounds till she got to the gardens. As she walked she saw Ares. With a small smile she began to follow him.

Getting close to him she placed her hands over his eyes. "Guess who." She whispered into his ear. This was going to be a good day. Aphrodite just loved being around him. this was a good way to be with each other in the gardens.

[Ares]

ares turned around ready to attack until he saw Aphrodite and pondered when she had came to the gardens he always enjoyed being around her "hello Aphrodite how are you doing today" he was trying to hide the small smile on his face he couldn't let the others know he had a nice guy side.

[Aphrodite]

Aphrodite took a step back. "Are you okay Ares?" Looking at him she could only smile. "I'm doing fine now that I had a nice nap and that today is a nice day. how are you doing Ares?" Looking at the garden she looked back at him. "Ares your in deep thought when I came down here. What are you thinking about?" She new that was probably a stupid question. Knowing him it was probably about some kind of war for all she new any way.

[Ares]

ares smirked "sorry Aphrodite i was thinking on how i could kill Hercules my stupid father says we not suppose to harm him but since wen do i listen to my father" he smirked again "other then that i am doing great enjoying the nice day" "my half brother doesn't deserve to have godly powers he is half mortal and should die like all the other mortals" he laughed evilly and the smiled at Aphrodite.

[Aphrodite]

Aphrodite looked at Ares. "Ares you should just leave your half brother alone. I mean just think who knows how many half brothers you have that could be half mortal. Your father slept with so many goddess and female mortals. Why do you want him dead?" Aphrodite looked at him and just shook her head with a smile. Aphrodite didn't mine the mortals she liked helping them. That was something she didn't understand how she could fall for the god of war. But she didn't she fell for him and didn't care. "Not all mortals are that bad Ares remember that."

[Ares]

ares looked at aphrodite and smiled "that is true aphrodite but i am the god of war and hercules always seems to get in my way by saveing the citys i try to destory and cause war in and that i why i want him dead" ares hated hercules the most out of all his half brothers"but i have felt a unsettling feeling as if thier is war on the horizen and it just makes me madthat i wasent the one who will bestarting it" "i ust wan to destrythe weak mortals " he looked at aphrodite.

[Aphrodite]

"I know Ares you are the god of war and your nature is war. Like mine is love and lust." Aphrodite put a hand on his shoulder. "Ares we are all weak those who are gods and mortals." Aphrodite's hand went from his shoulder to hand. "how about for today you don't think about your half brother. Just have fun today or well just not think about that. I'm here with you why don't we just have a relaxing walk today." Aphrodite didn't like war at all. Sure she fought but she always hated. Also she was scared that Ares would die from another god one day. That was her biggest fear was his death.

[Ares]

ares took her hand and smiled"i think i can do that aphrodite i thinkfor today i will just take a day off from my normal routine and just enjoy being with you today" he smiled at aphrodite and one of hs biggest fears was in the back of his mind that oneday she would die by the hands of another goddess but he dident really think about that.

[Aphrodite]

Aphrodite smiled at him. "That's great Ares I'm glade you will for today." She gave him a hug took his hand and began to pull him deep into the gardens where nobody would see them. "There is a small pond it would be a good place to clear the mind and just talk." Aphrodite didn't want any one to interrupt them at all. That was something she hated when she tired to be alone with someone nobody would let her have her peace.

[Ares]

ares smiled at her and huged her back "you are the only one who has ever seen my nice side if the ohes found out i had one i ont think they would let me hear the end of it but with you aphrodite i find i can show my nice side easier to you"he enjoyed her company an alo hated when the other gods tryed to interfear just tring to find outif ares had a nice side he smirked as he thought that.

[Aphrodite]

Aphrodite smiled "I'm glade I am the only one to see this side of you. I feel special that way." As she lead him to the pond she sat down on the edge of it. "This is a great place just to be your self. No gods are around to see." Aphrodite looked up at him. "Sit down and join me Ares." She loved being close to him. "You are the only god who hides so much from every one. But then again you have to keep a strong front. So it seems like you have no weakness at all and no emotions." Aphrodite said looking up at him.

[Ares]

ares sat down by aphrodite and smiled at her"yah but if i dont keep strong front and act like i have no feelings i wouldnt be a very good god of war if i dident" ares enjoyed being by the pond with aphrodite becuse he could just relax and not have to keep his imege up "if my mother saw this side of me i know what she would think of me but me and my parents have never got along but i find that just makes me stronger and i can keep my strong imege up better" he smiled at aphrodite.

[Aphrodite]

Aphrodite looked at him and smiled when he sat down next to her. "I know Ares you need to do what you need to do. I'm just glade you are not like this when you are around me alone." Looking into the water she could see there reflection. "Your mother will love you no matter what Zeus is harder to get love from." Aphrodite new that most of the gods were Zeus children and of course mortals as well.

[Ares]

Ares smiled "when i am around you Aphrodite alone i don't really think of waging war and i think my father is just a fool that is what i think anyways but when i am with you i know i can be my true self around you" h loved spending time with Aphrodite and liked that he didn't always have to think of waging war he just looked at the water ad smiled.
